Have you ever spent an entire month doing absolutely nothing but work or school? How did that make you feel?

Now times that by 3 years and you have my current mindset.

I’ve been going to school year round for the last three years and trust me, it has definitely not been a great last three years. Well, for the first time since I started at Montclair, I’m actually going on vacation.

I’m really excited because I’ll actually be getting away from this place that drives me absolutely bonkers. A prime example: I’m currently living in an on-campus apartment with 4 other girls.

You’d think that with that many girls, our apartment would be clean, but no. One of the 4 girls refuses to clean anything, yet she’s the only person home ALL THE TIME.

It got so bad that we had to make a chore chart and she STILL doesn’t help out. We’re not little kids anymore, we’re all in our 20’s… you’d think that people could just pick up after themselves.

It’s ridiculous and it makes me very disappointed in our generation. At any rate, I’m glad that I’ll be getting away from it for the next week.

  1. Hire a maid.

Or a hitman for the slob.

  2. That sucks, but I know what you mean…school, school, school…it’s nice to get away for a while. I like John’s suggestion, hire a maid :P Works wonders, really. It’s nice coming home to a clean home, less to worry about. Good luck with everything.

  3. sooooooooooooo glad i’m out of school. The years of walking through dirty laundry paid off a few years ago, and I can now hire a housekeeper.

  4. oh god, make that 4.5 years of uni and that’s my current mindset.

My experience of share housing is that girls are as messy if not more messy than guys.

    I feel for you.

I assume this tally of non-stop school years doesn’t count the 13 years prior to attending a tertiary education institution.
