RIP: The Neon

CORONER’S REPORT
December 10, 2005
time of death: 12:37 pm
cause: dehydration of the oil pan causing acute engine blowup

The NeonThe Neon was well loved by those who experienced her in all of her no-air conditioned and stereo-less glory. Those who knew the Neon best referred to her as the bucket and the booger.

The Neon was conceived sometime in 1995 but made her way through drug raids and auctions to her final owner in May 2003. She lived a comfortable life with a few minor run ins with other cars and buildings until her final weeks which were filled with oil leaks and frequent tire replacements.

She came to her final rest at the exit of I-40 and Coulter. She was transported to the Arby’s parking lot and pronounced dead on arrival.

The family requests donations be made to the “Tiffany needs a car fund.”

The remains can be viewed at the Glen Oak apartments. Services are pending.

  1. Aww Memories! I’ve killed many a car in my day:)

  2. I’m up to car #9 myself. I think I knocked out quite a few, and I think I wrote about it at least once on here somewhere…

  3. I am on car #9 too.
    RIP booger bucket.
