Danny came home from school one day, and his mother asked him how his day was.
“It was okay,” he replied. “Mrs. Stevenson wants us to do this weird homework project.”
Curious, she replied: “What’s it about, hon?”
While his mother poured him an orange juice, he replied. “She wants us to make puppets and talk about something we’re reading.”
“Really?” she asked, interested in the kind of project he would undertake. Knowing his creative mind, she smiled, knowing he would do well in the project.
A week later, Danny came home again disappointed. His mother sat him down and asked what was wrong.
“I got an F for my puppet project,” he sighed.
“An F? What did you do your project on?” she demanded.
He blushed.
“Come on, Danny,” she coaxed. “You can tell Momma. What did you do your project on?”
He pulled out a magazine inside from his backpack. “This,” he said, as he handed it over.
