I’ve had disputes with my other half about whether getting caught up emotionally over what someone says on the internet is healthy.
She says it’s not, while like everything else in life it’s healthy to have some kind of reaction to what other people say, think, or express. What’s the difference if it’s at work, home, or on a computer?
I should know. I’ve closed down my share of sites in my day.
The latest casualty in my reign of terror is Jennifer’s “kiss-my-kitty.com”. Like the other sites I’ve proudly rid the internet of, I used a patented form of attack: Honesty.
Okay, maybe “I” didn’t get rid of the other sites. Every site the JohnAle.net project closed down came at the hands of “Mr. X” — which at the time was a website reviewer written by someone else. My first “Mr. X” characterization came at the hands of someone else to do a radio show on a station that technically doesn’t exist anymore.
But this time, it’s in my name. At least in part. She wants us to take credit, to gloat. But why should I? Jennifer was nothing more than a “Krissy-Wannabe” since day one, to the point where she would even steal Krissy’s codes and other whatnots just to be more like her. She even decided to have her own business, webhosting, which is something Krissy has been doing for years. Her problem is that she was not a webhost but a reseller, and she really was a glorified one at that.
That is neither here nor there. She wants us to gloat about how we were able to rid her of the internet and other blah blah blahs. I will not do that.
What I will do is point out her continued hypocrisy and ridiculousness — this time with her own wording.
2) take care of your children - think of the example you’re setting for them.
This is coming from someone who has sex with her husband on cam — SO SHE CAN SELL THE TAPE AND MAKE MONEY. Allegedly so she can buy baby stuff.
3) karma does exist. What goes around does come around. And that, my dears, is what keeps me going in spite of your wave of undeserved hatred.
Apparently I need to shed a little light on a situation she keeps trying to forget and tuck under the mat.
About a month ago, someone bought a domain similar to Krissy’s “acidgloss.net” — then decided to make everything similar but not… to the point where if you didn’t know where you were you’d think you were at Krissy’s site because of the way the layout was designed. A couple of people pointed that out, there was talk about possible legal action, and all of a sudden the girl was homeless (as she was blogging. apparently bums have wifi) and the site went down.
In Krissy’s forum, a thread was launched about this, and Jennifer was all about how this kid should be ashamed of herself for trying to be like someone else instead of being original. In Jennifer’s forum a similar thread was launched, except Jennifer was bashing the crap out of Krissy for being so stupid.
In your case, Jennifer, I think “what goes around comes around” is when your own loyal readers are bashing the crap out of you, calling you out to be the fake that you are.
To sum it up, I’m sick of everything that has to do with online blogging and socializing.
Then close down your forum, you moron.
I have a wonderful life - a loving husband, a beautiful daughter who is blooming more and more each day, a close-knit family that needs me.
Don’t forget your minimum wage an hour, burger flipping, career move you and hubby have.
And I need them. Not you. Not this domain. Not this blog. Definitely not the drama and the cruel people that go with it.
I go back to the comment that I started this entry with about how it’s okay for one to get emotionally upset over internet commentary and diatribe. Just because you don’t leave your room doesn’t mean you can’t interact with others. It doesn’t mean you can’t have a real relationship, or that you can’t make friends with people you’ve never met before.
At the same time, a community is filled with all kinds of people. People that love you, that hate you, that can’t stand you exist. It comes with the territory.
And if my memory serves me right (reads seven paragraphs above again), weren’t you trying to stir shit up between this bimbo admitted code thief, or to ruffle Krissy’s feathers.
I think the most ironic thing is that most of her readers, her “supporters,” are more the reason for this than I am, since all I did was copy a couple of comments and paste them here, allowing for the Dead End reader to observe for themselves the witty banter that her own readers had to say.
Bye-bye, Jennifer. Have fun monitoring your forums in the “real world.”
