Random Tidbits…

I made a bet with someone that the Celtics would beat the Lakers in the NBA Finals. Not really sure what he was thinking: Best team in basketball against Kobe Bryant. So far it looks like you can add this to all the other bets you really shouldn’t make with me…

I have two fans aimed at the Lil’ Moo. I have a big fan aimed at me, and the window fan with the temperature thing set to 70 degrees - which it probably won’t see again until the end of August (I don’t do A/C - my allergies would KILL me if I did). We have to go shopping today, plus I want to go to the circus. Is the circus somewhere you want to go though to keep cool? Hmm…

Elyse sat in last week on the Radio X Show, and will be hanging out this week, too. I’m trying to bribe her to join the show on a regular basis for the summer. What should I do, use cupcakes? Cookies? Pencils?

Oh, and I’m drinking more water. I don’t know what the results will be in regards to my bloated ankle crap, or when I should notice them. I’m hoping before I die?!?

    It’s freezing down here.

    Well, you know, as cold as it gets in the Southern Hemisphere, which probably isn’t too cold for you. But I’m cold.

    It’s been hot enough here to breed sheep the last few days. Last Saturday I was so fortunate to have to sit in a stuffy church through a wedding. And Sunday I spent the afternoon in an over-packed high school gymnasium, sitting through a graduation. I’m not sure how circus’ are in NY, but you wouldn’t get me to sit through one here in Maine this time of year. I’m considering investing in an air conditioner. Coming home to a roasting sardine can and living with two dogs is really uncomfortable during the summer months. Ahh, the joys of mobile home living.
    Oh - and its called water retention ;-) I get it horribly in my ankles and tops of my feet every summer (usually resembling the feet of the Philsbury Dough Boy). Let me know if you find a decent remedy, as I’ll do the same.

    Li’l Moo sounds like such a cute nickname! It reminds me of the stuffed cow I have, Little Cow.
