So much for me being on haitus. Then again, no one’s actually coming to the site so it’s no skin off my back.

With Clay, Jackie, and Joey all writing something in the first week the site’s been back I have to say I’m pretty pleased with the way things look. I also have to wonder….

Thanks… kind of

N8 (first winner of Elimination and avid wrestling fan) wrote something about the site a few days ago but it’s apparently “no longer up“.

Last but certainly not least Mr. Ale is back. Well I think his site is and he’s not really. Half the people who are writing on their are either n8itude members or know me, but the funny part is the one person who linked me as a daily read is Abigail and she doesn’t even have a site. Hey u thnx .. ummm are u member here? Ok anyways back to Ale, go read his stuff on what happened and how he’s doing, it’s pretty damn interesting.

Thanks for noticing the site’s back. Go Yankees, and screw Bret Hart.

Hello,
I see that you are using MT 2.661 and I was wondering if you knew where to download it, because I am not very fond of the new mt, so if you do that would be great!

Dear Adam,
Thank you for noticing that I am indeed using MT 2.661, which has apparently become extremely valuable ever since Movable Type decided to sell the new MT 3.0 with numerous licensing packages.

To answer your question, I don’t know where you can find it anymore. I just happened to snag mine a few weeks before they launched the new one. And to be honest, I don’t see much of a difference between 2.661 I have and the version you can download for free from 6A other than the licensing agreement (which no one generally adheres to anyway).

If you can find a copy of 2.661 then by all means, go for it. But unless you get it from MT you can’t guarantee that it’s not a hacked version (like mine is) and may not do exactly what you want it to do.

You Got More Mail

I have at least three different emails from the past day or two about installing something for them on their site. The answer is no. I don’t care if it’s MovableType, Greymatter, B2, InvisionBoard, MegaBook, or any other program. All I can do is simply say this:

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

If you have a difficult time installing programs, and your host won’t (or can’t) install them for you, then by all means get a free Blogger account. If you can’t figure out Blogger, press the “power” button on your computer and please, just go away.

Other observations

I went to go see what the guys at Cam-Mafia were saying and found they went to a full service radio station. Good for them; at least they didn’t become too much of a shell of themselves first, like IG did before them….
Another new writer is joining the site. Welcome Kristie to the writing team. I’m still waiting on one other person to finish the staff out but for the most part, this looks to be it….
Some guy has pretty big problems [source: yahoo!]. This dude went out and porked a hen, then killed himself. If he waited until dinner, he could have eaten what he, um, yeah….

That’s in for now. Until the next time, whenever that may be….
