If you ever wanted to run for office but wasn’t sure how to do it, former Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro is coming out with a new book that will help political hopefuls.
How to be a Political Timebomb
In this new soon-to-be released book, the former top lawyer in Westchester tells all, from the very beginning to new tricks she learned in her latest two campaigns for the US Senate and New York State Attorney General’s offices.
Her first step is not to marry a deadbeat. In the book, she cites to stay away from men who will not only cheat on you and father a child with another woman, but to stay away from a man who will break a federal law and thus scar your political image for eternity.
In chapter seven, she describes how to pay attention to your current constituents since you never know when it will come back and haunt you. Especially if you happen to be the county’s top lawyer and a prisoner comes to you for help to overturn a verdict he or she feels is unjust and coerced by the police.
She even has advice for women who are scorned in love: “Never get an illegal wiretap on your husband,” she says on page 348, “and if you do, never talk with a man being investigated by the FBI about your intent.”
Pirro even has a bit of hilarity thrown in. In chapter nine, our author talks about love and marriage and the real reasons two people stay together, despite the fact the husband is a louse. She quotes herself from a press conference: “We stayed together because of the children.”
Much like in her real life, she rarely talks about her family in this book, except for chapters 22 and 23, where she repeatedly says it’s none of your business.
I can’t wait for this book to come out!
