Hey John,
I won’t be getting an update to you until tomorrow. Spent last night coughing until 1:30, sleeping until 2:00 and then coughing until I came to work today. Ergo, I am going to go home so I can cough some more in private.
Will try to get something written tomorrow.

So with that in mind…
I can’t remember how old I was, but I know I was trying to open up some bag of instant something. I couldn’t rip it open, so I grabbed a knife and went from there.
The blade cut the bag open, stopping at my thumb. Correction: In my thumb. When I realized what happened I did a MacGyver and wrapped it up with Bounty and duct tape. Every 20 minutes I changed the paper because it was red, until finally it settled.
I never got myself to the hospital, and I probably should have. There’s this thick scar on my thumb, too, from where I gutted my digit open.
By the way, whatever it was I was going to eat was probably really bland.
Much like this entry.

I sliced my finger opening a snack pack pudding when I was a kid… still have this nice curved scar from the tip of my finger to the first knuckle bend. Looks like a smile if I’m holding it the right way =)
MINE TOO!!!
I should have posted a picture. What was I thinking?!?
I once cracked my head open trying to do a xena jump.
at the age of 6.
That was fun.
ouch. i hate when that happens. gettin sick and then you cant sleep. ahhh. hope you get better!
That sounds like something I would have done. Only I would have probably tried to stitch it up myself with a needle and thread. Ha.
Well it never happend to me but it must hurt anyway I hope you’re gonna be okay after all. :)
Heh. I slices my fingers/hands open 3 times. Once trying to open a string cheese stick with a steak knife, once trying to peel an orange with a steak knife, and once trying to cut a pizza we got at the Italian market with a butcher knife. I was creative as a little kid. :)
Ouch, that sounds painful. I never sliced one of my fingers, but once I accidentally tore my toenail off by banging into it with a door.
I asked my brother how they get the view from behind the bins on TV when they show bowling. (this should give you an idea of the timframe is bowling as popular on tv)
He told me “I’ll show you.”
He told me to lay down, then my cousin pushed the coffee table over me so I wouldn’t get scared and jump up.
When my brother rolled the bowling ball.
My mother was not impressed.
