Ugh…

I hate waking uo only to find my arm fell asleep.

Today I woke up and both my arms were pinched. I couldn’t turn the alarms off. It was HELL.

Have I mentioned before that I need a new mattress?

  1. Hey John – thought I’d stop by and check out this online radio site of yours. Of course, I’m sure my experience here would be much better if only I could afford an internet service above dial-up LOL.
Anywho, I seldom wake up with my arms still asleep (always have the ability to roll over and plumit the alarm clock that so rudely woke me out of a dead sleep). However, waking up with a leg still snoozing is a whole new kind of hurt. Not sure which is worse, the pain of pins and needles invading your entire limb as you try to pull yourself out of bed, or the lump your receive on your forehead from smacking your head off the dresser in an attempt to make that first stride across the bedroom floor. Then you start to think “I should have stayed in bed and put the rest of my body back to sleep for a few hours. And hopefully, when I woke again, all of me would be ready to take on the day.”
I also need a new mattress quite badly. I often wake up confused as to whether I’m waking up in my bed, or on a bed of nails as some side-show at the local fair.

  2. I hate when that happens, but have had that only happen to one arm, not both. D: Hope you get a new mattress soon!

  3. I hate waking up with a numb arm. It’s especially bad when it’s up to your elbow. I haven’t done that in quite a while, thank goodness. (Now watch, because I said that it’ll happen tonight!)
