The New Dead End, Again

The Dead End has a lot of new things… a new host, a new content management system, and a new look.

However, we look to still be doing the same old stuff we’ve been doing before. Joey will continue to wow you with… umm… his semi-political banter. Heather will still be making fun of people she deems as stupid. And I will be… well… me.

Apparently there are lots of “themes” that I can play with to make the site look snazzy. I think this one will do just fine for now, thanks. It’s always fun to go to a site that has 23,432,135 layouts a week. Especially when the webmaster/mistress talks about how they are never on their computer. Right.

If you can see this, let me know what you think. It’s a hack of the default template, so don’t get your hopes up into thinking I actually designed something. It took me long enough to figure out how to import the old entries (7.3 seconds to be exact). A new layout would have cost me much more time that I’m willing to spend.

Thanks, and welcome aboard. Again.

Still.

There are shed loads of custom built themes you can download, or if you’re clever you can design your own.

You can also do the more thing with a command in your entries.

I think a lot of them look the same (mine included) because people tend to use a template — either the original one or one of the dozens found at the codex site — instead of messing with their own thing.

I’ll probably do some messing around here and there, but not as much as you’d think because I kinda dig the current theme. It’s a lot cleaner and smoother looking… me thinks.

Definately a cleaner look. I wholly approve - not that my approval counts for much.

I am always on my computer and I have had the same layout on my website for roughly over two years. And hey, I am number one on your links list! Hurray for the alphabet!
