Dead End Radio is down. Stupid router. K-IRB is down, too. Stupid Lougan.

Whoa… what the Hell? Why am I bashing him?

Lougan is a nice guy. I won’t even start to say anything bad about him on that regards. But his management skills are to be questioned.

I let him know Wednesday night that I wouldn’t be around to get a steady feed to K-IRB at least for a day or two. I figured it would be right for me to let him know what was up, if only briefly.

Apparently, his entire server is down and has been since Thursday (and is down as I write this). One of the other DJs there tried to log in, and when couldn’t decided to IM Lougan.

His response: “Don’t complain.”

The station is dying, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not exactly kosher to tell one of your DJs that they’re complaining instead of letting them know there’s a problem with the server.

I think the way Lougan handled that was wrong, and I think his lack of contact to me to let me know there’s a problem is also wrong. I mean, he has me as a station manager for K-IRB, you’d think I’d be one of the people he’d contact to let me know what’s going on.

But what do I know…
