   1 I’m subscribed to both rolling stone and blender. honestly, I think rolling stone is crap. They take themselves way too seriously and I don’t liek their writing. I love blender because they have a sense of humor about themselves.

   2 Sadly the only teo Blenders I’ve read have Mariah Carey on the cover, but I totally agree. I also like their music reviews; there’s a lot more music they focus on they touch base on, and some of the other music features they do are really awesome. Whereas Rolling Stone just isn’t interesting anymore, although they are focusing more on music now that the election is over. Another random thought about RS that I simply did not like is how they would publish writings from Hunter S Thompson or Thomas Wolff that have absolutely nothing to do about music OR politics. I’m all for great fiction writing, but a 17-page magazine-style “informercial” for someone’s new book is not what I’m paying for in a music magazine.
