A Taco Bell/KFC restaurant in downtown Manhattan is getting some major press this weekend. Apparently, the rats have taken over the joint.
It’s an isolated incident, but with the E Coli catastrophe still in the minds of many, everyone’ll be wondering. The restaurant people say it’s because of construction in the basement of the building. Right. Then why is one of them wearing a name tag?
Are Taco Bell and KFC owned by the same people? Or were they just sharing the building?[/quote]
yeah, Yum! Brands Inc. They have a combined KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut store in Coronado (So Cal). It threw me off the first time I went in there but later thought, cool!! Now I don’t have to go to 3 different places to be a fattie!! =)
Besides, it’s cheaper than the menu at the Hotel Del Coronado. $4.50 for toast!! Sure it tasted good but damn, I could’ve bought two friggin loaves for that price!
So I guess that urban legend about how the woman got a fried rat in a bucket of fried chicken is going to be coming back to life now, with good reason.
