I’ve had a few movies from Netflix since forever. “The Covenant” which Whitters thinks I should just send back, “District 9″ which I keep hearing awesome things about, and “Saw 6″ which I’m seeing, so back off!
It took me about a whole month to see “Star Trek” and I’m upset I waited so long considering how much I liked it. I know I’m going to have a fit once I see “District 9″ for the same reason, so that may be the next movie I see, but I am finding I am just too…
I don’t know. I need someone to watch movies with. That’s a HUGE reason why I don’t go out to movies unless it’s a movie I can take my son to, because I don’t have a movie buddy. There’s a woman at work that I saw “Extraordinary Measures” with, and she did mention wanting to see “Shutter Island,” which I wouldn’t mind seeing. But what do I do with the movies I have here, now?
I really do like Netflix, but I’m starting to wonder if I really need it. At first it was because my son was coming over and I wanted to make sure he had something to watch that wasn’t all Nickelodeonified. When he wasn’t here, I was watching some movies. I am even excited that I can watch movies with Google Chrome now.
My ratio to seeing movies now and from two months ago have dramatically decreased. Is the novelty of Netflix over for me? Is this how they do it? Psyching fools like me into really liking the service but waiting it out for a few months before I get so used to paying for the bill that I keep paying for it but never actually watch movies anymore?
I’m afraid to go “on vacation” and lose the list of movies I have in my queue. That was a bitch to put back together the first time. Do I take a break from Netflix? Do I write the list down? Or should I just cancel it?
