Imagine waking up to this….

I might as well be waking up like this considering the past couple of days. Apparently all kinds of Hell broke loose in Westchester, thankfully we left before we got involved.

I was able to finally find some kind of work here on Long Island. Of course, this is all pending on ::drumroll:: a drug test. But unlike the old TheNewJob, these guys gave me a date for orientation. I know that unless something happens, I’m in.

TheNewJob made me wait for two f’n weeks, and when I called them last, they told me that I would be getting something IN THE MAIL… what the Hell is that about? Just put some balls on and tell me I didn’t get the job, and tell me why.

Of course, this might all be a moot point, since we’re still looking for a place in the Downstate area; maybe Putnam or Orange counties. It’s a Hell of a lot cheaper to live there than it is on Long Island or Westchester, but we’ll see.

I hate seeing Heather miserable again, and I know that a big part is because her and my mother simply don’t get along. The job I have now seems to LOVE me to the point where they want me to consider management. MANAGEMENT. ME. A MANAGER. Or something on that level.

That’s priceless. But it could be fun. Of course, this means I’d be stuck here and I don’t know if I’d be able to walk into another place and get this handed to me like this so fast. Especially since I’m low on cash and want to make as much needed to feed the Lil’ Baby Moo (and whatshername).

Sorry Dave, but I’m still upset that I can’t get a stream for Dead End Radio up and running, and from what I can gather it looks like Lougan is actually doing something for K-IRB finally. The site itself is back up (I designed that shitty graphic) but there is no server yet. We’ll see how things play about on that level; I’m still considering a new server altogether for Dead End Radio and go from there.

I joined a new forum the other day. Christie and her friend Miranda launched Nocturna. It’s picking up a lot of momentum for a new board. It’s a bit of a twist of the other random forums I usually participate in, and I actually like it. I’m not a big forum person, so this is fun.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to comb my hair.
