Am I the only one that doesn’t feel comfortable with an open window in the bathroom?

If I’m in the shower, I want to capture all the heat and steam I can, but even if I have to “have a seat” I need to have the window closed.

I don’t care if I’m not in there, it’s only when I’m physically in the bathroom that I need to have the window closed. I think I’m weird, but whatever. It’s one of my few quirks that drive me crazy.

Anyway, I go to take care of business this morning and I go to close the window. I think I broke my shoulder. It’s not one of those lift and drop windows. Turn the crank and close the window, very simple and easy. So I went to go crank the handle and I twisted something.

Struggling, I go to twist again. Open, close, open, close, and nothing. It sucked. I couldn’t figure out what it was all about, because it wouldn’t budge.

Luckily, it’s the ground floor so I don’t have to suffer. I go outside and try to push and pull the window to see if it’s stuck. No, it’s good. Back inside, I go to crank and it pops. The pulley that pulled out snapped from the window track – an easy fix.

I go back outside and I push the window close, and it was an easy push. I pull, push, pull, push, all to see if it was a problem with the hinge. Nothing.

Now I have to go to the bathroom.
