It’s been a while since I’ve written something and to be honest, I was scared to think that maybe I’d have forgotten the password or my login…
…or how to write.
So here goes. God, I hope this doesn’t suck.
First, the beloved (not by me) Boston Red Sox have fallen short to going back to the Fall Classic for the third time since 2004, allowing the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to make their first ever appearance in the World Series. They will face the Philadelphia Phillies in what I think will be a five- or six-game series leading to a Rays win.
My favorite Governor Sarah Palin… first she comes out with guns blazing, then she comes out without her high school diploma. Girl can’t answer a single question without a dance, but she can appeal to the people. That might be great for small town folk, but will America be fooled? Maybe, if the economy didn’t collapse like it did, things would be a bit different for John McCain, but it looks like his pick for a ticket partner isn’t the home run I had once thought.
Anyone that says the New York Giants aren’t a dominant football team didn’t watch Sunday night’s game. Sure, last week they lost the distinction of being undefeated, but the Giants historically have problems with Monday night games. If only I had remembered this when making my picks. I don’t know just yet if this is a Super Bowl team, but I can almost guarantee they are playoff bound if they keep playing like this.
I filled up my car yesterday with gas at $3.06 a gallon. I was relieved at how low prices were, because honestly I’ve been struggling to get by week after week lately. A year ago, I wouldn’t have imagined paying $3.06 a gallon for gas. Remember when it was just four months ago we were paying about $1.50 more?
My boy busted my lip. He gave me a headbutt, right into my tooth. He was stunned more than hurt, but he got over it real quick. I, on the other hand, had to head to the bathroom and spent a good ten minutes trying to get the blood from my lip to stop. It’s time to invest in a mouth guard; I’m not letting him kick my ass again.

Wow, gas here in Wisconsin is down to $2.89. I can’t believe it has fallen under $3 bucks! It’s astonishing. As for the game last Sunday I didn’t get to see it, and well can’t say I am a big Giants fan, but I’ll definitely have to youtube it :]
As for your lip, ouch!
I just filled up at 2.97 a gallon. I was so excited that I told some of my friends and they went out and got some gas too. Ok it didnt happen like that, but I was still excited.
Don’t get too excited about the current “low” cost of gasoline. OPEC is meeting to reduce production so the prices can go back up again. No shit.
Patriots kicked ass on Monday night football this week (’bout time they won one)!
Gas in Maine is $2.79 a gallon. And, thankfully, for now anyway, heating oil is continuing to creep down in price :-)
the price of petrol has just fallen to 99p here, but don’t see it lasting long from what I have been hearing =(
welcome back to the world of blogging! =)
I’m not really a giants fan, not to mention I havent even been paying attention to football.
you’re still over 3$ a gallon?! you’re kidding. we’re at 2.55 a gallon..
too right! I can’t believe how much prices have dropped lately. It’s under $1.75 a litre here now.. Prices we haven’t seen in over a year and a half. Pretty insane.
Hope the busted lip heals quickly.
I always kind of find it funny when I see the price per gallon, cause up here in Canada…it is somewhere around $5/gallon….I can’t remember the exact math…seems everywhere gas prices suck.
