Hillary Clinton is a step closer to finally just dropping out of the race, with the DNC Saturday saying they’re only crediting half the votes she asked for.

DNC Rules and Bylaws panel members said they made the decision so other states would learn there are penalties for breaking the rules. Michigan and Florida broke the rules by having their primaries before they were supposed to, so the DNC originally said, a la the Soup Nazi, “No votes for you! Come back, four years!”

Well, they count now. Sort of. Halfsies in Florida. And Barack Obama gets votes in a state (Michigan) he wasn’t even on the ballot in.
