An Apple a day…

… pisses me off.

I have never in my life been so mad at a piece of fruit.

I spent the majority of the morning calling my laptop every evil name under the sun. And maybe even above it.

Firefox and IE weren’t loading right at all. The only sites I could load were sites like TheDeadEnd - sites I didn’t have to login to. No offense, but I didn’t feel like reading TDE all day.

Two virus scans, three disk cleanups, and two defrags later I found the culprit - a spyware program. No big shocker there, I could tell SOMETHING wasn’t right. The shock (or maybe lack of?) came when I discovered where this spyware came from.

When I installed the latest iTunes update it came with an automatic Apple Software Updater and some other random junk from Apple. Some how the spyware installed itself manually during my upgrade.

I went through every Apple-related product on my laptop and uninstalled it. Every last bit of it is finally gone. Four hours after starting all of this mess, my laptop was FINALLY back to normal.

Any small glimmer of hope that I’d ever purchase an Apple product has been completely dissolved. I have no desire whatsoever to ever own an Ipod or MacBook ever.

I knew there was a reason I never liked apples.

“PCs are so slow and they drag like crazy.” Of course they do, especially when you’re the one adding files and programs that are not wanted and dragging them down. Stupid Apple company. Anything to make it like PCs are inferior.

I’m confused; Chenoa, your laptop is an Apple, or a PC? I’m guessing PC, but I’m not certain.

PC that previously had iTunes and other shitty Apple products on it. It’s now Apple-FREE.

Itunes slows the crap out of my PC. I hate it. But I just had to buy an iPod because my old MP3 player just wasn’t good enough…

Luckily, I had just moved my music to a flash drive.

This is the first time I’ve had any problems. I was just upgrading like a good customer would *CRIES*

I never had a problem with it until now. Apple needs to quit putting unnecessary programs in their upgrades and things would be fine.
