A little too much love…

Senator Barack Obama has been labeled as unpatriotic because of his failure to wear a flag lapel pin, which he now does all the time.

But maybe he could have shown his love in a different way.

I was reading the newspaper at work Sunday, and there was a piece on how Barack Obama has changed his views on certain issues, such as the war in Iraq and when we’d pull out the troops.

When his foe was Hillary Clinton, he’d take them out right now and then worry about the consequences later.  But now that he’s against John McCain, he’s willing to go and meet with the generals and discuss a proper plan of action.  I remember when he was proud of his family.  Now he seems to only be proud of his white ancestors.

Was this what he meant by change?

Wow… what a trip!

Seeing the love for my son the other night, I just couldn’t hold my emotions.  He’s the luckiest guy out there, with so many people that love him so.  I need to find ways to cherish him until forever that won’t get boring…

The show the other night was pretty off the wall.  I’m not trying to fluff up or anything, bit Christie and Miss MIchele really helped carry the show.  Had a chance to play “Who Said That?” and unfortunately the contestant didn’t win, so we didn’t get to spin the Big Wheel of Prizes.

Work, however, sucks.  It will continue to suck, I’m sure.  My bank sucks, my bed sucks, my everything sucks.

I should get some rest.  This is going to be a long day.  I think.

Work was boring as all Hell Friday.  My feet were burning up, my knee felt like it was about to explode, but my boss was adamant that I had to work.  So what if I can’t function, right?

I forgot my newspapers this morning, so I’m listening to the radio catching up on what happened and the “breaking news” sounder goes off, alerting me and the millions of other New Yorkers listening that NBC broadcaster Tim Russert had died.

I never really paid much attention to him, nor did I watch “Meet The Press,” but I knew of him and always heard great things about his work as a broadcaster and as a political behind-the-scenes figure working with various Senators and Governors in his career.

A heart attack while he was working, they say, is what killed him.  He was just with his family overseas, came back to work, and now he’s gone.

What a shitty way to start Father’s Day weekend.

Barack ObamaSo it’s finally over. Barack Obama is the (projected) nominee for the Democratic Party for the President of the United States.

Unless, of course, Hillary decides to do something about it.

That’s right, she could do what Al Gore did a few years ago and take this thing to court. Or maybe she’ll use this as political blackmail to force Obama to make her his Vice President.

She could have walked out months ago… but no… she had to let this drag on like midget porn.

SPAM!!!

WordPress is great. With the right plugins, it’s supposed to catch all the bad spam emails and commentary. And since I set up my CMS right, I have to agree.

But every once in a while you get something that’s spam that really isn’t. And although technically this can probably be labeled as spam, I found it not to be.

I guess Jamie came to the site because of my more recent blog entries. You know, the ones where I’m pointing and giggling at the debacle that is the Democratic Primaries.
