A little too much love…

Senator Barack Obama has been labeled as unpatriotic because of his failure to wear a flag lapel pin, which he now does all the time.

But maybe he could have shown his love in a different way.

Let’s see how good he is now…

So, the retired Brett Favre is now a New York Jets quarterback. All Gang Green needs now are 10 other solid players and they might have a decent offense.

I can’t tell you how little I care about this. No, it’s not because I’m a Giants fan. It’s because #4 has shown that he is a whining, spoiled brat that can’t accept the fact that he’s done.

How many times is he going to retire? When his season in New York flops, he’ll look like an idiot for trying to relive some kind of glory that he can win with any team.

If he can make that hapless Jets team win the Super Bowl, then I’ll eat my words.

So its summer and its the time of year that I change from paste to brown almost overnight. It’s the time of year I wait for desperately from the second it ends. Mostly for the beach. And on that note I was patient this year as far as waiting for the water to warm up…

So Alex Rodriguez is nailing Madonna, but Madonna’s people say that’s not happening.  So what if they go out partying, if she goes to a Yankees game in his seats, and supposedly he leaves her apartment late at night.

The next day we find out that Alex’s wife is nailing Lenny Kravitz, but nobody’s saying anything except that she’s in Paris where you-know-who is performing on tour.

They all have something fun in common:  A-Rod’s manager.

Still feeling weird…

I’m still bummed out about George Carlin passing away. Probably one of my favorite comedians, definitely a source of inspiration behind my sarcasm and wit, I was stunned when I first heard.

Radio X Show.com - Wednesdays at 10pm EasternI’ve thought about doing some kind of tribute during the show, but I don’t want to take away from the rest of the show, especially with Miss Michele reading tarot and the beginning of Summer X-tacular.

I dunno… we’ll see.  Should be fun regardless, with Christie back “one night only” again.  I always love doing the show with her, it’s always so ridiculous.

Work was boring as all Hell Friday.  My feet were burning up, my knee felt like it was about to explode, but my boss was adamant that I had to work.  So what if I can’t function, right?

I forgot my newspapers this morning, so I’m listening to the radio catching up on what happened and the “breaking news” sounder goes off, alerting me and the millions of other New Yorkers listening that NBC broadcaster Tim Russert had died.

I never really paid much attention to him, nor did I watch “Meet The Press,” but I knew of him and always heard great things about his work as a broadcaster and as a political behind-the-scenes figure working with various Senators and Governors in his career.

A heart attack while he was working, they say, is what killed him.  He was just with his family overseas, came back to work, and now he’s gone.

What a shitty way to start Father’s Day weekend.
