Despair

Misery loves company

Over the past few days, I’ve been suffering a cold. My throat was raw, I’ve been coughing, and my nose was congested like the Long Island Expressway during rush hour.

Sunday night, I pick my boy up - a little earlier than usual - so I can sleep in and avoid the morning drive. Yes, it sounds selfish, but we get more time together and I get to recoup.

Of course, that’s not how it’s going to work out. And why would it?

Great idea, horrible implementation

They say that by next February, you better have a digital television… or else!

That’s right, you better go run out to Best Buy or Circuit City or wherever you can get a TV and buy yourself a brand new set, because otherwise you won’t be able to watch any local broadcasting because they’re going digital.
