Great publicity, eh?

Over the past month, TDE quietly participated in a month-long blog-every-day project called NaBloPoMo. The basic theme was to write something at least once a day, every day, for the month of November.

It was a quiet production because, let’s face it, we do that all the time. I thought about doing some kind of linkage, maybe some site reviews… anything to promote the project.

I… I forgot.

Best Story Ever… and I cant’ share it!

Well, it’s not exactly the BEST story ever, but it’s a pretty good story. A friend of mine on LiveJournal wrote something recently that blew my mind.

The best part, however, was this line.

“…and we walked over to the perps house….”

Interactive Television

Before I went to work the other day, my son and I snuggled up and watched some Disney. “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” to be exact.

For those not in the know, children’s television has apparently tried to be “interactive” with their audience. It started with Mister Rogers, but with Blues Clues and a LOT of the Disney programming, the way it goes is like this. The characters stop, ask the listeners for “help,” and then praise them for being right.
