Every once in a while, when I have nothing to write about, I ask someone in a desperate attempt to unblock my writing juices to give me a random topic. Elle Marie happened to be tonight’s lucky contestant, and she wanted me to write about the Spinone.
Now, I’m not exactly a big animal lover. Doesn’t mean I hate them, I just don’t have an attraction or need to have a pet in my life. Heather’s mom’s family has three cats. One of them has five toes, and pretty much acknowledges either me or our son as his owner, much like a dog does. If I were to ever decide that a pet is in my future, it would have to be our five-toed freak, because it’s the only cat I’ve been around that doesn’t send me into all kinds of hives.
I don’t see why I would want a purebred dog like a Spinone.

Janet met Robert in a smoke-filled bar. He was drinking a Seven and Seven, dressed in a killer business suit with his suave looks and his air of confidence that filled the room.
She wasn’t so good looking, draped in a frumpy brown dress. The only good thing about Janet’s dress was that it showed her tits off in a way that would make her mother proud.
“Remember this, my little tulip.” Holding her in her arms, staring down into Janet’s young eyes, her mother would quiver with both joy and embarrassment. “Two things will always get a man: sex and food.”
Janet wasn’t a good cook, but tonight she was going to get this debonaire lawyer from the right side of the tracks.

As a kid, I was always close to my father’s sister’s kids. Josh is only a year younger than me and Jessica is about 4 years older. When I was six years old they moved into a large Victorian home across town. I loved this house and spent many days there playing Nintendo and admiring Jessica’s collection of Cabbage Patch Kids.
During one of my visits, my cousin’s grandmother was present. I’d always been shy around her because she always seemed to be demanding things from my cousin, Josh. The things she demanded were not simple and painless, either.
