Million Little PiecesI remember when this book was first released in 2003. I worked at Borders in the inventory department. We received a single copy.

The publisher tried to promote it by giving each major bookstore a free copy for employees to read and hand sell the book. Apparently that didn’t work, so they went after a much coveted marketing scheme: Oprah.

We’re not the same, brother

Laura and I were talking the other day, and one of the things she said she loved about this site was that I’m not really too big about talking about work or my personal life. Apparently some people talk too much about themselves or something like the world revolves around them (metaphorically, not literally, although…), and that the writers here at TheDeadEnd.net are willing to write about different topics other than themselves.

As much as I adore Laura and her hot bee self, this is probably an entry she won’t be reading. Because IT’S ALL ABOUT ME!!!!11!!!!1111!!!!!

Despair

Heather and I were talking, and she pointed this out to me from Sarah’s website.

My stupid asshole brother apparently came over this afternoon and broke my ipod. My $300 ipod. The one I saved for and bought when I got out of the hospital. He apparently destroyed the bottom of the ipod where the USB connects. I am heartbroken over this. I don’t have the money to replace this. I am so upset.
