My wife dragged me to Central Union Church every Sunday. She had gone to there since she was a kid and wanted out kids to get the same spiritual upbringing that she had. I wasn’t much of a believer, but I figured I would just go and stay quiet so as not to rock the boat. She knew I didn’t believe, but we never argued about it so long as I never mentioned it.

When Caroline makes quilts, she always makes sure to bleed a little on the needle. She figures that no matter where the quilt ends up, a little bit of her will travel with it. In this way, she imagines she’ll have traveled all over the world.

When Madagai was sent up from Hell, he wasn’t given any special powers with which to claim souls. No, Hell is on something a strict budget as far as magical powers goes. Instead, he was given an old beat up Pinto and a gas card with no spending limit. And cigarettes. Lots and lots of cigarettes.

Note: I vowed to make sure that there was an update a day on this site for as long as possible. However, there is a new entry from John here which should not be missed.
It’s 4 in the morning and you’re on WZZZ with the Moon Man. I’m here for your regular overnight man, Brian Nelson, until the sun rises, then I have to creep back to bed. This will most likely be the last time I sub for Brian. Or anybody subs for Brian, seeing as how he’s dead at my feet right now.
